Leaona, also known as Lea, was born and raised in Southern WV before attending Marshall University, majoring in Education. She met and married the love of her life, 33 years ago. Lu swept her off her feet with his southern charm. They have three sons, two daughter in law's and adding one more next year.\n\nLea loves animals, her Princess Kayelea is proof enough but she also loves her two beagles, Junior and Frankie. A lover of football and NASCAR, you'll never catch this country girl in camo although you might find her surf fishing.\n\nLeaona was inspired to write while she raised her family, never dreaming one day, she would be published. While loving all genres of books, Lea writes contemporary romance stories that are not your everyday love stories. Gritty and true to life, she draws from her life and loves to create her characters. \n\nShe’s your everyday girl, that loves to connect with her fans via social media. Leaona also doesn't mind dishing about her favorite authors and their books.\n
